Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Robotics & Automation Intern to join our Research & Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic R&D environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers and researchers, contributing to the design, development, and testing of advanced robotic systems and automated solutions. This role is ideal for individuals looking to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges and develop crucial skills in the rapidly evolving field of robotics and automation. Full training and mentorship will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the research, design, and development of robotic hardware and software components.
  • Support R&D engineers in the prototyping, assembly, and testing of new automation solutions.
  • Conduct literature reviews and gather technical information on emerging robotics technologies.
  • Aid in data collection, analysis, and interpretation for ongoing projects.
  • Help prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews.
  • Maintain and organize laboratory equipment and work areas.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Robotics Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB).
  • Familiarity with fundamental robotics concepts, control systems, or mechanical design principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous academic project experience involving robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
  • Understanding of sensor technologies and data acquisition.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
