Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our stable team in Gympie. This role is crucial for optimising our logistics operations by transforming complex data into actionable insights. You will be instrumental in identifying trends, evaluating performance, and recommending improvements across our supply chain, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness in a dynamic industry. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets related to supply chain operations, including inventory, transportation, warehousing, and demand forecasting.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with logistics, operations, and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational challenges.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new data collection and analysis methodologies.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within supply chain or logistics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP).
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
