Job Description
Qualcomm is seeking an experienced and visionary Supply Chain Director to lead our global supply chain operations. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure resilience across our complex international supply network. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic supply chain initiatives aligning with company goals and market demands.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain resilience.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors globally.
- Implement advanced supply chain technologies and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies, mitigating risks.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a senior supply chain leadership role within a global manufacturing or technology company.
- Deep expertise in supply chain management principles, including logistics, procurement, demand forecasting, and inventory control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent.
- Experience with international trade compliance, customs regulations, and global sourcing strategies.
- Familiarity with semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing supply chains.
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus, given the international scope of the role.
