Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Takeaway Delivery Drivers to join our busy team in Sunderland. As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of Domino’s, ensuring our delicious pizzas arrive hot and fresh to our valued customers. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy being on the road, have excellent time management skills, and thrive in a customer-focused environment. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for those new to delivery roles or looking for flexible work.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver orders quickly and safely to customers' homes and businesses.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately, providing correct change where necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service, always maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with in-store duties during quiet periods, such as cleaning, restocking, and helping with food preparation.
- Ensure your delivery vehicle is clean and well-maintained (if using own vehicle).
- Communicate effectively with store management regarding delivery status and potential issues.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License with no more than 6 points.
- Access to a reliable vehicle with valid MOT and business insurance (if using own car) OR willingness to use a company vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Good geographical knowledge of Sunderland and surrounding areas.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role.
- Familiarity with local road networks and shortcuts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
