Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Taxpayer Support Representative to join our fast-paced call center team. In this entry-level role, you will be the first point of contact for taxpayers calling with a variety of inquiries. This position is focused exclusively on inbound calls, providing crucial support and guidance to ensure taxpayers receive accurate and timely information. Full training will be provided to equip you with all the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed. Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, addressing taxpayer inquiries with accuracy and empathy.
- Provide clear and concise information regarding tax procedures, regulations, and deadlines.
- Assist taxpayers with navigating online portals and understanding their tax obligations.
- Document all interactions and resolutions accurately in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Escalate complex issues to senior representatives or specialized departments when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
- Continuously update knowledge on tax legislation and company policies through provided training.

- Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and professional telephone manner.
- Strong active listening skills and ability to empathize with callers.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment is a plus, but not required.
- Basic understanding of UK tax system or a willingness to learn rapidly.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
