Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Tender Writer to join our dynamic team in Huntingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong writing and communication skills to embark on a career in bid and proposal management within the environmental and engineering sectors. You will work closely with senior tender writers and subject matter experts to craft compelling proposals, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), and tender responses that showcase RSK’s capabilities and commitment to excellence. Full training and mentorship will be provided to help you develop a robust understanding of the tender process, industry best practices, and our service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the research, writing, and editing of high-quality tender responses, proposals, and PQQ documents.
  • Collaborate with technical experts, project managers, and business development teams to gather essential information for bids.
  • Proofread and review tender documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with client specifications.
  • Maintain and update a library of standard tender content and company information.
  • Support the tender team in administrative tasks, including tracking deadlines and managing document version control.
  • Learn and apply best practices in bid management and proposal writing.
  • Contribute to post-submission reviews and feedback sessions to continuously improve bid quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the tendering or bidding process (e.g., prior internships or academic projects).
  • Understanding of the environmental, engineering, or construction industries.
