Job Description
Are you bursting with energy, enthusiasm, and a love for creating magical moments? Twinlakes Park is seeking a cheerful and dependable Theme Park Mascot Handler to bring our beloved characters to life! This ‘fun job’ is perfect for individuals who enjoy interacting with guests, embracing the spotlight, and contributing to an unforgettable theme park experience. You’ll be the friendly face (or the handler behind the face!) ensuring our mascots are safe, engaging, and ready to spread happiness throughout the park.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and enthusiastically escort theme park mascots around designated areas.
- Assist performers in and out of mascot costumes, ensuring proper wear and safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain positive and engaging interaction with park guests, especially children, while in character zones.
- Ensure mascot costumes are clean, well-maintained, and stored correctly.
- Monitor mascot performers for signs of fatigue or discomfort, providing breaks and water as needed.
- Act as a liaison between mascot performers and park management/guests.
- Adhere strictly to character guidelines and park safety regulations.
- Assist with special events, parades, and photo opportunities as required.
- Uphold the magical reputation of our characters at all times.
