Job Description
Are you meticulous, detail-oriented, and possess a keen eye for accuracy? Cox & Palmer is seeking a Title & Deed Search Clerk to join our busy Real Estate team in Saint John. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a quiet, analytical environment and is eager to learn. You will play a crucial role in supporting our legal professionals by conducting thorough searches of property records, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order for real estate transactions. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting detailed searches of land titles and property registries
- Analyzing legal descriptions and property records to identify relevant information
- Preparing clear and concise reports summarizing search findings
- Assisting lawyers and paralegals with various aspects of real estate transactions
- Maintaining organized electronic and physical files
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and external agencies as needed
- Adhering to all firm policies and provincial regulations related to property searches
