Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Tourism Board & Destination Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team at Visit Bath. This entry-level internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of destination marketing and tourism promotion. You will support various initiatives aimed at increasing visitor numbers, enhancing visitor experience, and promoting Bath as a premier destination. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals keen to start a career in tourism, marketing, or civic engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and digital content.
- Conduct research on tourism trends, competitor activities, and visitor demographics to inform marketing strategies.
- Support the management of Visit Bath's social media channels and website content updates.
- Help organise and execute promotional events, press trips, and stakeholder meetings.
- Contribute to data collection and analysis to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing and communications teams.
- Engage with local businesses and partners to gather information and promote collaborative initiatives.
- Respond to visitor enquiries and provide information about attractions, accommodation, and events in Bath.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
