Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Trade Show Booth Builder to join our traveling team. This hands-on role involves the assembly, dismantling, and maintenance of custom and modular exhibition booths at various trade shows and events across Canada. You will work closely with project managers and fellow team members to ensure timely and high-quality setup, contributing directly to the success of our clients’ events. This position requires regular travel and offers competitive weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble and dismantle trade show booths and displays according to blueprints and specifications.
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring their safe transport and handling.
- Operate basic power and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Interact professionally with clients, venue staff, and other vendors as needed.
- Travel to various event locations across Canada, often requiring overnight stays.
Required Skills
- Proven manual dexterity and comfort with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or setup diagrams.
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, event setup, or a related field (1+ year).
- Forklift operator certification.
- Experience with freight handling and logistics.
- Basic customer service skills.
