Job Description

Prairie Plains Medical Records Management is seeking an Entry-Level Medical Records Sorter to join our growing team in Brandon. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated candidates with no prior experience in medical records. As a Medical Records Sorter, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient organization, filing, and retrieval of patient information, contributing directly to the smooth operation of healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort and file medical records, ensuring proper order and placement within physical and digital systems.
- Retrieve medical charts and information as requested by authorized personnel.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all patient data in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Perform quality checks on filed records to identify and correct any discrepancies.
- Assist with scanning and digitizing paper records for electronic archiving.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
