Job Description
Are you passionate about coffee and looking for an exciting entry-level opportunity to start your career in the vibrant hospitality industry? Costa Coffee is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team in Leicester as Trainee Barista / Coffee Shop Assistants. This full-time, daytime hours role requires no prior experience, as we provide comprehensive training to help you master the art of coffee making and customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Prepare a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based coffees, teas, and smoothies, following Costa Coffee standards.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, seating areas, and restrooms.
- Assist with food preparation, including warming pastries and sandwiches.
- Restock inventory and ensure displays are appealing and well-maintained.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
- Learn and apply new skills quickly and efficiently during training.
