Key Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist qualified Public Health Inspectors on site visits, inspections, and investigations.
• Develop an understanding of and apply relevant public health legislation and guidelines.
• Participate in assessments of food safety, housing conditions, and environmental quality.
• Support the team in responding to public health complaints and service requests under direct supervision.
• Contribute to the preparation of inspection reports and risk assessments.
• Actively engage in all training modules and study for professional certifications.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all activities and observations.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues, businesses, and the public.

Preferred Qualifications
