Job Description
Are you a self-motivated individual looking for an independent role with immediate impact? Calgary Vending Solutions is seeking a dedicated Vending Machine Snack Restocker to manage an established route in Calgary. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our vending machines are consistently stocked with a variety of delicious snacks and beverages, clean, and fully operational. A company van will be provided for your route. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering great service.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently restock vending machines with snacks, beverages, and other products according to predetermined schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentable appearance of all assigned vending machines.
- Perform basic machine troubleshooting and report larger issues to maintenance.
- Collect cash and credit card transaction data from machines and reconcile with sales records.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage product rotation, and order new stock as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at various locations.
- Operate company-provided van safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Complete daily route sheets and reconcile inventory at the end of each shift.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in route driving, delivery, or merchandising.
- Customer service experience.
- Familiarity with basic vending machine operations or troubleshooting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
