Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced WFH Compliance Officer to join our dynamic Financial Services team. This critical role is responsible for ensuring Santander UK’s adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a vital part in protecting our customers and the integrity of our financial operations from the comfort of your home office. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, advising the business on their impact and necessary actions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures across various business units.

- Provide expert compliance advice and training to staff on regulatory matters and best practices.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to relevant authorities.

Required Skills
- Proven experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of UK financial regulations (e.g., FCA Handbook, PRA Rulebook, AML, GDPR).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical advice.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional compliance qualification (e.g., ICA Diploma in Compliance, relevant legal qualification).
- Experience with compliance monitoring systems and tools.
- Familiarity with digital banking and fintech compliance challenges.
