Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Window Shutter Labourers to join our installation team on the Gold Coast. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for ongoing, stable work with weekly pay in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for assisting skilled installers with the preparation, transportation, and fitting of window shutters, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Full training will be provided to dedicated candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced installers with the measurement, cutting, and fitting of window shutters.
- Safely transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
- Prepare work areas, ensuring cleanliness and protection of client properties.
- Perform general labouring tasks as directed, including site clean-up and material handling.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 20kg).
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to learn new skills and be trained.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Australian Driver's License and reliable transport.
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Previous experience in a labouring or construction environment (even if not specific to shutters).
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
