Job Description
Join Kaplan International Languages as a Work From Home: TEFL / ESL Teacher and empower students globally to master the English language. This 100% remote position offers the flexibility to teach from anywhere while connecting with diverse learners. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals passionate about education and cultural exchange. While prior teaching experience is a plus, it is not strictly required; we value a strong commitment to student success and the ability to inspire. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure your success in this dynamic online teaching environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels using our online platform.
- Prepare lesson materials and activities tailored to student needs and learning objectives.
- Provide constructive feedback on student performance, pronunciation, and grammar.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure maximum learning outcomes.
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and interactive virtual classroom environment.
- Adhere to Kaplan International Languages' curriculum guidelines and teaching standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of student attendance and progress.
Required Skills
- TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
- Excellent command of the English language (native or near-native proficiency).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of enthusiasm, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional teaching environment.
- Proficiency in using online communication and teaching tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field (Education, Linguistics, English preferred).
