Job Description
Are you an energetic individual who loves working outdoors and takes pride in a job well done? Wasatch Pool Pros is looking for a dedicated Residential Pool Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time position focused on maintaining a regular route of residential pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for enjoyment. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of pool maintenance, from chemical balancing to brushing and vacuuming, providing essential service to our valued customers throughout the Ogden area.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of residential swimming pools on a designated route.
- Test and balance pool water chemistry, adding necessary chemicals accurately.
- Brush pool walls and tile, skim surfaces, and vacuum pool bottoms.
- Inspect pool equipment for proper function and report any issues to management.
- Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and chemicals used for each pool.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and equipment.
Required Skills
- Valid US Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage a route efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Ability to learn and understand pool chemistry and maintenance procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in pool cleaning or a related outdoor service role (e.g., landscaping, pest control).
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor pool equipment troubleshooting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
