Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Operations Intern to join our National Brand Placement team in Devonport. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of retail operations, specifically focusing on how national brands are strategically placed and promoted within our stores. You will support the team in analyzing product performance, understanding consumer behavior, and ensuring optimal display execution to drive sales and enhance the customer shopping experience. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn the intricacies of retail merchandising and supply chain dynamics within a large national brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research and analysis of brand placement strategies and their impact on sales performance.
- Support the team in monitoring competitor activities and market trends related to product placement.
- Help prepare reports and presentations on brand performance metrics and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with store teams to ensure compliance with planograms and promotional guidelines.
- Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing shelf space, product visibility, and customer flow.
- Participate in store visits to observe brand placement in action and identify areas for improvement.
- Learn about supply chain logistics and inventory management as it pertains to national brand distribution.
