Job Description
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Flat Pack Specialists for casual day work, focusing on home assembly services. This role involves travelling to customer homes within the Parramatta and surrounding Greater Western Sydney areas to assemble IKEA furniture and other flat-pack items. If you have a knack for following instructions, are handy with tools, and enjoy helping customers bring their home visions to life, this opportunity is for you. This is a flexible, casual contract position, perfect for those seeking supplemental income or varied workdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various customer homes within the designated service area.
- Efficiently and accurately assemble a wide range of flat-pack furniture according to provided instructions and diagrams.
- Ensure all furniture is assembled to high quality standards, checked for stability and completeness.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Manage time effectively to complete assemblies within scheduled timeframes.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area in the customer's home.
- Communicate any issues or delays proactively with customers and dispatch.
- Handle tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
Required Skills
- Proven practical ability and experience with basic hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex assembly instructions accurately.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

- Ability to work independently and manage a fluctuating workload.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver furniture items as required.
