Job Description

Are you a creative enthusiast eager to kickstart your career in a dynamic studio environment? Village Roadshow Theme Parks is seeking a passionate and driven Studio Junior Intern to join our in-house creative team on the Gold Coast. This paid internship offers an incredible opportunity to learn the ropes of a fast-paced creative studio, supporting our designers and marketers in bringing iconic entertainment brands to life. No prior professional experience is required; we’re looking for raw talent, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to learn and grow. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship, gaining hands-on experience across various creative projects, from digital content to print campaigns and event branding.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers and marketing specialists with daily creative tasks and project execution.
• Perform basic graphic design tasks, image editing, and asset preparation under guidance.
• Support in organizing and maintaining the studio's digital asset library.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to creative briefs.
• Prepare presentation materials and mock-ups for internal reviews.
• Conduct research on design trends and competitor creative strategies.
• Ensure all creative work adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Learn and effectively utilize various creative software and tools.

Required Skills

• Strong passion for creativity, design, and the entertainment industry.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with common office software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related creative field.
• A foundational understanding of design principles and visual communication.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus, but not essential.
• A digital portfolio showcasing personal projects, student work, or creative interests (e.g., photography, illustration, digital art).
