Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Flyer & Brochure Folder. This is an immediate start, entry-level position perfect for someone looking to begin a career in the printing industry. No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. Your primary role will involve the manual and machine-assisted folding of various printed materials, ensuring accuracy and quality for our clients. This is an on-site position within our dynamic print shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate folding machines to accurately fold a variety of printed materials, including flyers, brochures, and pamphlets.
- Perform manual folding and collating tasks for specialized print jobs.
- Conduct quality checks on folded materials to ensure they meet client specifications and company standards.
- Prepare finished products for binding, packing, and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Assist with other general production tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic understanding of measurements (training provided).
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or print shop environment (not required, but a plus).
