Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Car Valeter / Wash Attendant to join our busy service team immediately. This is a full-time, on-site position vital to ensuring every vehicle presented to our customers meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and are ready for an immediate start, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of new, used, and service vehicles, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Detail vehicle interiors, including cleaning upholstery, carpets, and dashboards.
- Apply protective treatments to vehicle surfaces.
- Operate car wash equipment safely and efficiently.
- Move vehicles safely and carefully within the dealership premises.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay and detailing areas.
- Report any vehicle damage or issues discovered during the cleaning process.
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required by the service department.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Required Skills
- Valid Washington State Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred but not essential, training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift regularly throughout the shift.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car valeting, detailing, or a car wash environment is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of automotive cleaning products and techniques.
