Hunters Estate Agents in Southport is seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous individual to join our team as an Entry Level Property Management Bookkeeper. This is an incredible opportunity for someone with little to no prior experience in bookkeeping or finance, as full training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our property management department, learning the ropes from experienced professionals and developing valuable skills. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily financial record-keeping for managed properties.
  • Support the processing of rent payments and other property-related income.
  • Help track and reconcile property expenses.
  • Learn to maintain accurate ledgers and financial databases.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare basic financial reports under supervision.
  • Communicate with landlords, tenants, and suppliers regarding financial queries.
  • Support the wider property management team with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to company financial policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • No prior bookkeeping or finance experience required – full training provided.
  • A strong eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good numerical aptitude.
