Job Description

Are you hands-on, eager to learn, and looking for an exciting entry-level opportunity? Deer Lake Leisure Centre is seeking a motivated Bowling Alley Pinsetter Mechanic (Trainee) to join our team. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training! You’ll learn the essential skills to maintain and repair our bowling pinsetting equipment, ensuring smooth operation for our customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Learn to perform routine maintenance and preventative checks on bowling pinsetting machinery.
  • Assist experienced mechanics with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Respond promptly to lane calls and clear pin jams to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pinsetter area and workshop.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding equipment status and repairs.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and safe work environment for staff and customers.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
