Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Client Care Officer to join our team in Goulburn. This is an ongoing, stable full-time role within the vital healthcare sector. As a Client Care Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our valued patients and clients, providing essential support, information, and a seamless experience. Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate and timely information.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for pathology collection services.
- Process patient registrations and update demographic information with precision and confidentiality.
- Explain procedures, preparation requirements, and test results (within scope) to patients.
- Resolve patient concerns and complaints efficiently and with empathy, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain organised patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and laboratory teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong empathy and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
