Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Self-Storage Facility Relief Manager to join our team in Woodbridge, Vaughan. This part-time position primarily covers weekend shifts and is perfect for someone looking for an easy-going retail role with a focus on customer interaction and facility oversight. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility during your shifts, assisting customers with their storage needs, processing rentals, and ensuring the property is clean and secure. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills eager to learn the self-storage business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the facility's daily operations during weekend shifts, including opening and closing procedures.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with storage unit rentals, payments, and general inquiries.
- Conduct property walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, security, and address any maintenance needs.
- Process payments, maintain accurate records, and handle cash transactions with integrity.
- Execute light cleaning and upkeep tasks to maintain the facility's appearance.
- Promote and sell packing supplies and merchandise.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite, point-of-sale systems).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with light physical tasks, including walking the property and lifting up to 20 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality.
