Key Responsibilities

• Participate actively in all required training programs to gain proficiency in port security protocols, emergency response, and surveillance techniques.
• Monitor designated areas within the government facility using advanced security equipment and patrolling methods.
• Conduct routine checks of access points, perimeters, and restricted zones to detect and report any suspicious activities or unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations, following established procedures.
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports, daily logs, and other required documentation.
• Provide clear and concise communication to colleagues, supervisors, and relevant authorities during security operations.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies, government regulations, and industry best practices for security operations.

Required Skills

• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a clear criminal record and security clearance.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

• Basic computer literacy for report writing and data entry.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain a valid Security Guard License (if not already held, training provided).
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
