Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Logistics Data Entry Clerk to join our Ballarat team for afternoon shifts. This warehouse-based role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of logistics data, supporting our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for maintaining our core systems with critical shipping, receiving, and inventory information.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately inputting logistics data into various internal systems and databases.
- Processing incoming and outgoing shipment documentation, including manifests, waybills, and delivery orders.
- Verifying data accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
- Maintaining organized digital and physical records of all logistics activities.
- Generating reports on data entry progress and logistics metrics as required.
- Communicating effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and other departments to resolve data-related issues.
- Adhering to company data security and confidentiality policies.
- Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed to support warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and speed.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic to intermediate computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment during afternoon shifts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, or warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar logistics software.
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
