Job Description
Are you passionate about photography and eager to learn the intricacies of studio lighting within an e-commerce environment? Next Retail Limited is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Photography & Studio Lighting Intern to join our creative team in Banbury. This is an unparalleled opportunity for an entry-level individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will work closely with experienced photographers and stylists, assisting with product shoots, understanding camera equipment, mastering various lighting setups, and contributing to the visual content that drives our online presence. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone looking to kickstart their career in commercial photography.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead photographers with setting up and breaking down studio equipment, including cameras, backdrops, and lighting.
- Learn and apply various studio lighting techniques for different product types (e.g., apparel, accessories, homeware).
- Support the organization and preparation of products and props for photoshoots.
- Help maintain a tidy and efficient studio environment.
- Assist with basic image culling and preparation for post-production.
- Gain familiarity with camera settings, lenses, and other photographic tools.
- Collaborate with stylists and other team members to ensure a smooth photoshoot process.
