Job Description
Are you looking to start a career in manufacturing? Mars Wrigley in Slough is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our production team as an Entry-Level Factory Production Worker. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. This role involves working rotating shifts to support our 24/7 operations, playing a vital part in the production of high-quality products. We value safety, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery under supervision following safety guidelines.
- Perform basic quality checks on products and materials.
- Package finished goods according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
- Participate in all required training and development programs.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20kg.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (even non-production related, familiarity with industrial settings is a plus).
- Basic understanding of food safety principles (HACCP, GMP) is a plus, but not required.
