Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Property Management Bookkeeper. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in finance within the real estate industry. No prior bookkeeping experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. You will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks related to property management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
  • Maintain accurate financial records for various properties.
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and deposits.
  • Support the senior bookkeeping team with month-end closing procedures.
  • Respond to financial inquiries from tenants and vendors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
  • Learn and utilize property management accounting software.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
