Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA/QC) Engineer to join our growing technology team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure defects are understood and resolved efficiently.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide early feedback on testability and potential issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Provide clear and concise status updates on testing activities and defect trends.
- Work effectively within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control roles.
- Proficiency in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Familiarity with SQL for database testing.
- Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
