Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Chauffeur to join our dedicated team in Southampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional transportation services to our diverse client base, including corporate executives, VIPs, and private individuals. This role demands excellent driving skills, impeccable customer service, a strong commitment to punctuality, and an understanding of the highest standards of luxury travel. You will be an ambassador for our brand, ensuring every journey is smooth, safe, and sophisticated.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport clients to their destinations in a timely manner.
- Maintain the pristine condition and cleanliness of the assigned vehicle, inside and out.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Provide polite, discreet, and professional customer service to all passengers.
- Assist clients with luggage and other personal belongings as needed.
- Plan routes in advance, considering traffic patterns and client preferences.
- Maintain accurate trip logs and records.
- Be available for flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license (Category B) with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Excellent knowledge of Southampton and surrounding areas.
- Proven experience as a professional chauffeur or similar driving role.
- Impeccable driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Road Passenger Transport Operations or equivalent.
- Advanced driving qualification (e.g., RoSPA Advanced Driver).
- Experience with luxury vehicle maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics.
- First Aid certification.
- Private Hire Driver's License (PCO/Taxi License) where applicable.
