Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dairy Farm Milking Assistant to join our team for early morning rural work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, and doesn’t mind early starts. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience with dairy farming or milking is necessary. You will play a crucial role in the daily milking routine, ensuring the health and comfort of our cows and the quality of our milk.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the morning milking routine, preparing cows for milking and attaching clusters.
- Monitor cow health and identify any signs of illness or injury, reporting to the farm manager.
- Clean and maintain milking parlor equipment and surrounding areas to high hygiene standards.
- Ensure the welfare and comfort of the herd before, during, and after milking.
- Follow all farm health and safety protocols.
- Participate in general farm duties as required, which may include bedding down, feeding, or moving cows.

- Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.

- Local to the Leamington Spa area or reliable transportation.
