Job Description

The Great House Hotel is seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Porter to join our welcoming team. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in all aspects of the role. You will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests during the night hours, maintaining the security of the premises, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the security of the hotel premises throughout the night.
  • Conduct regular security checks and patrols of the hotel property.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and check-ins/check-outs during night shifts.
  • Handle any guest emergencies or complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Prepare breakfast areas or set up meeting rooms as required.
  • Complete light administrative tasks and reports.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of public areas during quiet hours.
  • Respond to fire alarms and other emergency situations according to hotel procedures.
