Job Description

Are you passionate about engineering and fascinated by the thrill of roller coasters? WSP is offering an exciting opportunity for a Roller Coaster Engineering Intern to join our innovative team in Maidstone, Kent. This entry-level internship is perfect for aspiring engineers eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and challenging field. As an intern, you will play a supporting role in various stages of project development, from concept and design to analysis and documentation for large-scale structural and mechanical projects that could include leisure and entertainment structures.

No prior professional experience in roller coaster design is required; we provide comprehensive training and mentorship to help you develop your skills and understanding of complex engineering principles. Your internship will focus on learning the fundamentals of structural mechanics, dynamics, materials science, and safety regulations as they apply to unique engineering challenges. Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting senior engineers with research and data collection for project feasibility studies.
