Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Golf Ball Retriever to join our dedicated team at Pocatello Golf & Sports Complex. This vital outdoor role involves operating specialized machinery to efficiently collect golf balls from our driving range and prepare them for re-use. This position requires early morning starts, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently in various weather conditions. Full training will be provided to the right candidate, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are committed to reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate golf ball retrieval machinery safely and efficiently across the driving range.
- Collect, clean, and sort golf balls, ensuring they meet quality standards for player use.
- Perform routine pre-operation checks and basic maintenance on retrieval equipment.
- Assist with general upkeep and cleanliness of the driving range, tee lines, and surrounding areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company operational policies.
- Consistently arrive for early morning shifts, often before sunrise, and work effectively independently.
Required Skills
- Ability to operate light machinery (comprehensive training will be provided).
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to early morning shifts.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license (for operating range vehicles and machinery).
