Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our Public Sector team as an Unemployment Claims Adjudicator. This is a unique opportunity for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in public service, as no prior experience is required. Key Responsibilities
- Review unemployment benefit applications and supporting documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct interviews with claimants and employers to gather relevant information and clarify discrepancies.
- Analyze facts and apply complex laws, policies, and regulations to determine eligibility for benefits.
- Issue clear, concise, and well-reasoned decisions regarding unemployment claims.
- Maintain detailed and accurate electronic records of all claim activities and communications.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, employers, and other stakeholders, providing professional and empathetic assistance.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with legal and policy changes.
