Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Athletic Director / Head Coach to lead our athletic programs and spearhead international sponsorship initiatives. This pivotal role involves overseeing all athletic operations, coaching specific teams, and actively developing and managing relationships with international partners and sponsors. The successful candidate will be responsible for program development, budget management, staff supervision, and ensuring a high standard of athletic performance and student-athlete welfare. A significant component of this role is to identify, cultivate, and secure international sponsorships to enhance our programs and provide unique opportunities for our athletes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive athletic programs for all age groups and skill levels.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of coaching staff and athletic personnel.
• Manage athletic department budgets, equipment, and facility usage effectively.
• Serve as Head Coach for a primary sport, providing expert instruction and leadership.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure international sponsorship opportunities to fund programs and athlete development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international sports organizations, educational institutions, and potential sponsors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant athletic regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Promote a positive and inclusive athletic culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, academic achievement, and personal growth.
• Organize and manage local and international athletic events, competitions, and camps.
• Develop marketing and promotional materials for athletic programs and sponsorship initiatives.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in athletic program management and coaching at a competitive level.
• Demonstrated success in securing sponsorships or fundraising, particularly with an international focus.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and experience with budget management.
• Ability to inspire and motivate athletes and staff.
• Proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken) is highly preferred for international relations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Sports Management, Education, or a related field.
• NCCP certification (or equivalent international coaching certification) at Level 3 or higher.
• Extensive network within international sports communities or educational institutions.
• Experience working with diverse student-athlete populations.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
