Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable web applications, covering both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern software development practices, a passion for technology, and the ability to mentor junior developers. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using modern full-stack technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the entire software development lifecycle.
- Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using front-end frameworks.
- Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices on the back-end.
- Work with databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data migration.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Extensive experience with back-end languages like Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET.
- Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, JUnit, Pytest).
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate).
- Previous experience in a technical lead or mentorship role.
