Job Description
Join Dubbo Security Solutions as a Part-time Security Screen Helper, assisting our experienced tradespeople with the preparation, fabrication, and installation of security screens and doors. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone seeking consistent day work, eager to learn a trade, and contribute to a local business. You will be involved in various tasks, from preparing materials in the workshop to assisting with installations on-site, ensuring our projects run smoothly and efficiently. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople with the cutting, assembly, and preparation of security screen materials.
- Help load and unload materials and tools for workshop and on-site tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the workshop and on job sites.
- Provide general support during the installation of security screens and doors.
- Learn and adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform basic administrative or cleanup tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic understanding of tools and measurements (or willingness to learn).
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting and moving materials.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a trade assistant or labourer role (even basic).
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Local knowledge of Dubbo and surrounding areas.
