Job Description
Are you passionate about cars and looking for an active, engaging role where every day is different? BCA Manchester is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Auto Auction Lot Drivers to join our busy team. In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for safely moving a wide variety of vehicles, from everyday cars to luxury models, around our auction site. If you have a valid UK driving license, a clean record, and enjoy being on the go, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move vehicles of all types around the auction centre premises.
- Park vehicles in designated areas, ensuring optimal lot organization.
- Conduct basic visual checks for vehicle damage before and after movement, reporting any findings.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and traffic regulations on site.
- Assist with general lot duties and vehicle preparation as required.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude while working.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License (Category B)
- Clean driving record (no more than 6 penalty points)
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles confidently
- Excellent attention to detail and observational skills
- Reliability and strong punctuality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Physical capability to walk and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a driving role (personal or professional)
- Familiarity with automotive industry practices or auction environments
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus, but not essential
