Job Description
Join Northern Ground Care as an On-Call Snow Shoveling Crew Member for the upcoming winter season! This temporary, high-paying role is perfect for individuals looking to earn significant income during snowfall events. We are looking for reliable and physically fit individuals to respond quickly to snow accumulation, ensuring our clients’ properties in Hartlepool are clear and safe. Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to on-call requests for snow removal during snowfall events.
- Efficiently shovel snow from sidewalks, pathways, entrances, and other designated areas.
- Apply de-icing agents as directed to prevent slips and falls.
- Operate snow blowers or other small equipment safely, if trained.
- Ensure properties are cleared to a high standard, maintaining safety and accessibility.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding job status and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines during operations.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and shovel snow for extended periods.
- Reliability and commitment to respond to on-call requests, often at short notice.
