Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Tote Box Washer to join our industrial cleaning facility in Slough. This entry-level position is crucial for maintaining the high standards of hygiene and efficiency required in our operations. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role. You will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and sanitization of reusable tote boxes and other containers using industrial washing equipment, playing a vital part in our logistics chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain industrial washing machines for tote boxes and containers.
- Load and unload items onto washing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Inspect cleaned items for quality assurance, ensuring all hygiene standards are met.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety concerns promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all company health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including general facility cleanliness.
- Assist with other general duties within the cleaning facility as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
