Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into engaging, high-quality TikTok videos following current trends and brand guidelines.
- Develop creative concepts and storyboards for short-form video content.
- Incorporate trending sounds, effects, and text overlays to maximize viewer engagement.
- Collaborate closely with content strategists and clients to understand project requirements and deliver on vision.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok trends, features, and best practices.
- Optimize video content for various platforms beyond TikTok if required.
- Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance video performance and virality.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of TikTok's platform, content styles, and viral trends.
- Basic familiarity with video editing software (e.g., CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar mobile/desktop editors).
- Excellent creative vision and storytelling abilities through short-form video.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
- A genuine passion for social media and digital content creation.
- A portfolio of self-created TikToks or short videos (even amateur ones) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating content for other social media platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Familiarity with graphic design principles for video thumbnails and overlays.
- An understanding of basic analytics for social media content.
- Relevant certification in video editing or digital media production.
