Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as a Seasonal Contract Postal Clerk / Sorter in Murrieta, California. This is an entry-level position and no prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training! You will play a vital role in our fast-paced distribution center, helping to efficiently sort and process packages and mail for timely delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort packages, mail, and other deliverables according to established routes and guidelines.
- Load and unload packages from conveyor belts, vehicles, and staging areas.
- Operate scanning equipment to track package movement and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily sorting and processing goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
