Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in a structured training program to learn claims adjusting principles, procedures, and relevant insurance policies.
  • Assist senior adjusters with administrative tasks, data entry, and documentation related to claims.
  • Learn to communicate professionally with policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders regarding claim status and processes.
  • Under supervision, begin to review policy coverage and determine liability for assigned claims.
  • Develop skills in investigating claims, gathering necessary information, and assessing damages.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough claim files and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless claims experience for our clients.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information and systems.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a desire to help others.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • No prior insurance experience required; full training provided.

  • Post-secondary education in any field (e.g., Business, Arts, Social Sciences).
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
