Job Description
Are you an outgoing and enthusiastic individual looking for exciting weekend work? Woolworths Group is seeking friendly and energetic Promotional Samplers to represent our brands and engage with customers in our stores in the Greenway area. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your positive energy and excellent communication skills to a dynamic retail environment. You’ll be the face of new and exciting products, offering samples and sharing information to enhance our customers’ shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage proactively with customers, offering product samples with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Clearly and enthusiastically communicate product features, benefits, and promotions.
- Set up and maintain an appealing and hygienic sampling station in compliance with food safety guidelines.
- Monitor product stock levels at the sampling station and replenish as needed.
- Accurately record customer interactions and provide feedback on product reception.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Represent the Woolworths brand professionally and positively at all times.
- Work primarily on weekends, ensuring consistent presence during peak shopping hours.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light promotional materials.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and food handling practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in promotions, retail, or customer service.
- Current Food Safety Handling Certificate.
- Own reliable transport to various store locations in the Tuggeranong district.
