Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Greenhouse Gas Emissions Data Clerk. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in environmental data management within a large, established organization. You will be responsible for accurately collecting, inputting, and maintaining data related to our greenhouse gas emissions, supporting our environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for candidates with no prior experience but a strong aptitude for data entry and a desire to learn about environmental reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data from various sources into designated databases and systems.
- Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all entered information.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical records related to GHG emissions, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of routine data reports and summaries for internal review.
- Collaborate with environmental specialists to understand data requirements and reporting protocols.
- Identify and report any data discrepancies or issues to the appropriate team members.
- Adhere to all company policies and data security protocols.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of environmental regulations and data management best practices.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to learn new software and data entry systems quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
